Job summary

RADISE India is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer in Hyderabad to lead geotechnical analyses for global civil projects and mentor a local team.

You will perform bearing capacity, seepage, and slope stability analyses, prepare calculations and reports, and coordinate with project managers to meet deadlines.

In-person role with emphasis on rigorous QA/QC and clear technical communication.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5–10 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience performing shallow and deep foundation design and analyses.
• Experience conducting seepage and slope stability analyses.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical analyses and develop engineering recommendations from subsurface data.
• Conduct shallow foundation design analyses, including bearing capacity and settlements.
• Perform deep foundation analyses for piles and drilled shafts.
• Carry out seepage and slope stability analyses for canals, embankments, and retaining structures.
• Derive geotechnical design parameters from field and lab data.
• Review boring logs, lab results, and groundwater information.
• Prepare calculations, memoranda, and comprehensive geotechnical reports.
• Coordinate with project managers and other engineering disciplines.
• Support QA/QC reviews and manage multiple projects to deadlines.
• Communicate findings clearly to the team.

Radise India is seeking a highly experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer with a distinguished educational background from renowned institutions like IIT or NIT. The successful candidate will lead and mentor a team while analyzing and designing geotechnical aspects for global civil projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical engineering analyses and develop engineering recommendations based on subsurface investigation and laboratory testing data.
• Perform shallow foundation analyses, including bearing capacity, settlement, and foundation design recommendations.
• Perform deep foundation analyses, including axial and lateral capacity analyses for driven piles, drilled shafts, auger-cast piles, and other deep foundation systems.
• Perform seepage analyses and slope stability analyses for canals, levees, embankments, and retaining structures. .
• Develop appropriate geotechnical design parameters based on SPT data, laboratory test results, published correlations, and engineering judgment.
• Review boring logs, data, laboratory test results, groundwater information, and other geotechnical investigation data.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical memoranda, and comprehensive geotechnical engineering reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review field and laboratory data for completeness and technical accuracy.
• Assist with QA/QC reviews of calculations, analyses, and reports.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously while meeting project schedules and deliverable deadlines.
• Communicate technical findings clearly to project managers and other members of the engineering team.

Mandatory Required Qualifications

• Approximately 5–10 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience performing shallow and deep foundation design and analysis.
• Demonstrated experience performing seepage and slope stability analyses.
