The role requires hands-on GenAI, LLMs, RAG, agents, APIs, and cloud-native tech, with strong Python skills and a focus on secure, high-quality software engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience in Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions.
• Experience building and deploying AI-powered applications using LLMs, RAG, agents, APIs and cloud-native technologies.
• Strong proficiency in Python and API development.
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and knowledge retrieval patterns.
• Exposure to GenAI evaluation, guardrails, monitoring, and optimisation techniques.
• Experience with AWS services and cloud-based deployments.
• Understanding of software engineering best practices, CI/CD and secure development.

What you’ll do In your new role, you’ll be working within a feature team to engineer software, scripts and tools, as well as liaising with other engineers, architects and business analysts across the platform.

• Producing complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality which adds value to the business
• Working in permanent teams who are responsible for the full life cycle, from initial development, through enhancement and maintenance to replacement or decommissioning
• Collaborating to optimise our software engineering capability
• Designing, producing, testing and implementing our working software solutions
• Working across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design, through coding to testing, deployment and operations

To take on this role, you’ll need minimum 4 years expereince in software engineering experience and hands-on experience in Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions . The ideal candidate should have experience building and deploying AI-powered applications using LLMs, RAG, agents, APIs, and cloud-native technologies.

You’ll also need:
