Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and hands‑on implementation of enterprise‑scale Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions using Infosys and industry‑standard tools/platforms such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, and frameworks including Autogen, LangGraph, CrewAI, Google ADK/SDK, MCP ecosystem, and similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Drive end‑to‑end AI transformation initiatives by defining solution approaches, implementation strategies, governance practices, and scalable delivery models across Quality Engineering and business functions.
• Design, develop, and optimize complex AI agents, multi‑agent systems, and autonomous workflows integrating LLMs, enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and testing ecosystems.
• Provide deep hands‑on technical leadership in prompt engineering, agent instruction design, skill file creation, grounding strategies, context management, memory handling, and orchestration logic to improve reliability and accuracy of AI solutions.
• Lead AI Assurance and governance initiatives for AI‑infused applications, including validation of functional accuracy, safety, hallucination detection, bias assessment, explainability, performance benchmarking, and responsible AI compliance.
• Establish reusable frameworks, accelerators, standards, and best practices for AI engineering, AI testing, and agent development to improve productivity, scalability, and engineering quality.
• Collaborate with client leadership, enterprise architects, product owners, and cross‑functional teams to shape AI roadmaps, solution architecture, innovation programs, and strategic transformation initiatives.
• Act as a technical mentor and AI practice leader by guiding teams on modern AI engineering patterns, agentic frameworks, automation strategies, and emerging GenAI technologies while remaining actively involved in development and problem‑solving activities.
• Lead PoCs, innovation programs, and enterprise pilot implementations to demonstrate measurable business outcomes and accelerate AI adoption across accounts.
• Work extensively with cloud and AI ecosystems such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI/GCP, vector databases, MCP servers, and enterprise AI deployment architectures.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMOps, AI Assurance, and autonomous agent ecosystems, and drive adoption of next‑generation AI capabilities within the organization and client engagements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in computer engineering or equivalent
• 10--12 years of experience in Data Science, AI, ML and Gen AI area using any programming or scripting languages.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Python development or any other language used for Data Science or AI ML.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Explore and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve our development processes.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands‑on Generative AI based solution implementation
