Job Overview

The subject role will provide single point support to HD Shops in India in setting up system infrastructure to run daily shop operations and training shop staff in using the system. He/She will lead & manage master data for HD Shops and will be the administrator for the Epos system. He/She will also provide support to company-owned shops via Micros. Lead and Manage responsibility encompasses the role from updating the data dictionary (flavors, promotions, menu, user id etc.). Implementation, Maintenance & Enhancement is the expectation on an ongoing basis along with Reporting & Analysis of data for HD leadership. This role is also expected to deliver software updates for new strategies like adding ecommerce channels. Supporting with MIS report for all HD shops, leading implementations for updated guidelines from GMI and government bodies.

Job Responsibilities

  1. 50% of Time Own
    End to End Data Management for POSIST & Micros, The entire work stream will be managed by this individual.

    The role encompasses data mining from multiple sources/tools to data harmonization and a robust quality audit:
    • Day to day update of promotions in POSIST & Micros for HD shops
    • Voucher updating
    • Discount updating
    • Item code creation
    • Addition and deletion of user name
    • Managing Issue resolution related to POSIST & Micros for HD Shops
  2. Reporting & Analysis
    • Master and own the monthly deliverables in the form of reports & presentations and send quality output in a timely manner
    • Upgrade monthly deliverables based on business requirements, ideate complex fixes and create functional, efficient reports
    • Avoid redundancy in reporting and call out best practices to the team
    • Generate & Analyze MIS reports like promotion, Daily sales, Monthly Sales
    • Guarantee data quality and accuracy through thorough comprehension of request, accurate application of tools/platforms with an eye for detail and a robust data & logic check
    • Coordinate with Micros team related to promotion in Co-owned shops
  3. 30% of Time
    Building End to End Commercial Readiness for New Shop Franchisee:
    • Commercialization from system side for all New HD Franchisee shops
    • Lead Training for EPOS system as a subject matter expert on this tool.
    • EPOS system step-up
    • All menu item code creation in POSIST
    • Discount if any
    • Billing address etc to be set
    • Shop staff names needs to be added
    • New shop update in Essbase
  4. 10% of Time
    Commercial Readiness for New Shop Co-Owned:
    • MICROS billing setup
    • MICROS Training
  5. 10% of Time
    Continuous Improvement mindset to deliver Executional Excellence:
    • Gain in-depth knowledge of HD Business as well as a comprehensive understanding of GMI product groups
    • Undergo trainings: As recommended and self-initiated refresher trainings to keep abreast of tool dynamics and their functional applications
    • Learn and navigate tools and databases and be market savvy on the new tools

Desired Profile

Education

  • Minimum Degree Requirements: Graduate
  • Preferred Major Area of Study: IT & MIS
  • Required Professional Certifications: Proficient in MS office / Micros / Torex/POSIST

Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Expert in English Language and should have the capability to communicate with international counterparts on a continuous basis.
  • Should be a master at MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Should have good knowledge on restaurants F&B billing systems and MIS.
  • Should be able to multitask and work on tight deadlines.
  • Display a high sense of accountability and presence of mind when completing requests with high visibility or tight turnaround times.
