MD/DNB in General Medicine, valid registration, and teaching experience per NMC guidelines are required.

Qualifications

• MD/DNB – General Medicine from a recognized institution.
• Valid medical registration.
• Teaching experience as per applicable NMC requirements for Associate Professor

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care through OPD, IPD, emergency and ward services.
• Conduct regular ward rounds, case discussions and clinical assessments.
• Teach and mentor MBBS, interns, postgraduate students and junior residents.
• Conduct lectures, bedside teaching, seminars, tutorials and academic sessions.
• Supervise junior doctors and guide students in clinical decision-making.
• Participate in research activities, publications, CME programs and academic development.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, examinations, assessments and departmental activities.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital and medical-college standards.
• Coordinate with other departments for multidisciplinary patient care.
• Support the HOD in departmental administration and academic responsibilities.
