Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly disciplined and operationally sound Security professional, preferably a retired Armed Forces Officer (Colonel or equivalent), to lead the security function for our upcoming solar manufacturing facility. This critical role involves protecting land and assets, overseeing construction activities, ensuring secure movement of materials and labor, integrating modern surveillance systems, and managing outsourced security teams to ensure operational excellence.

Experience Required:

Minimum 20+ years (including armed forces service)
Preferred Rank: Colonel or equivalent (Retired Armed Forces Officer)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Comprehensive Site Security Planning

• Implement security strategies to protect assets, land, and personnel, especially during the construction phase.
• Prevent unauthorized access, encroachments, theft, and sabotage.
• Maintain 24x7 perimeter integrity using layered physical and tech-based controls.
  

2. Construction & Material Oversight

• Ensure secure movement/storage of high-value materials, equipment, and contractor personnel.
• Coordinate with project teams for operational discipline and security compliance.
• Enforce entry/exit protocols with full documentation and verification.
  

3. Access Control & Surveillance

• Implement biometric access systems, RFID vehicle tagging, visitor management tools.
• Establish a centralized Command & Control Centre with live CCTV and intrusion detection.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure system reliability and coverage.
  

4. Outsourced Security Manpower Management

• Supervise performance of outsourced security personnel.
• Define/enforce SLAs with vendors including KPIs and accountability.
• Regularly review, inspect, and audit vendor performance and compliance.
  

5. Emergency Preparedness & Incident Response

• Develop protocols for fire, medical emergencies, protests, sabotage, and natural disasters.
• Conduct drills, briefings, and evacuation exercises.
• Investigate all security breaches and prepare structured reports.
  

6. Liaison & Compliance

• Liaise with local police, fire departments, government officials, and law enforcement.
• Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety standards.
• Maintain documentation for audits and internal governance.
