Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking an experienced General Counsel to lead contract negotiation playbooks and oversee drafting, review, and management of commercial agreements.

You will provide expert commentary on negotiation strategies, optimize templates for risk mitigation, and collaborate with AI-training teams to produce concise, actionable insights for system learning. Independent, detail-oriented professionals who communicate clearly will fit well.

Qualifications

• Current or prior experience as a General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, or Assistant General Counsel with a focus on contract negotiation playbooks.
• Expertise in commercial contract drafting, negotiation, and management within corporate environments.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with attention to detail and clarity.
• Knowledge of industry-standard practices for contract review and risk assessment.
• Experience developing or utilizing contract negotiation playbooks specifically designed for companies.
• Familiarity with document-driven project assignments, including sourcing and submitting eligible materials.
• Ability to work independently and deliver concise, actionable insights for AI training purposes.
