Job summary

Net Connect in Bengaluru is seeking a Gen AI Engineer / Java-Python AWS Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions across its digital platforms, using Java, Python, AWS, microservices, and cloud-native architecture.

You will build CI/CD pipelines, apply infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation, develop unit tests, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver secure, high-performance enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Python, and microservices.
• Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, RDS, KMS, ELB, SNS, SQS, IAM).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab).

Technical Requirements

• 58 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong experience in Java/Python and AWS.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Python, and microservices.
• Experience with React.js and modern application development.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, including: EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, RDS, KMS, ELB, SNS, SQS, IAM.
• Experience with AWS cloud architecture and design.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, or GitLab.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Java scripting.
• Working knowledge of Linux, networking, routing, and firewalls.
• Understanding of security compliance and secure software development practices.
• Experience developing unit tests and maintaining code quality.

Gen AI / AI Skills

• Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, AI-powered applications, or AI/ML engineering.
• Ability to integrate AI capabilities into cloud-based enterprise applications.
• Understanding of AI APIs, automation, and scalable AI-enabled solutions is preferred.
