Job summary

Zensar is seeking a Generative AI Engineer in Hyderabad to craft AI-powered applications with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic frameworks. You will design and deploy AI-enabled solutions, build intelligent workflows, and integrate with enterprise systems using REST APIs and microservices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of software development with 1+ year in Generative AI tech.
• Strong programming in Python, JavaScript, C#, or Java.
• Hands-on with LLMs, prompts, RAG, and AI app development.

Generative AI Engineer / AI Application Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Generative AI Engineer with experience in building AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), modern AI frameworks, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering background combined with hands-on expertise in Generative AI, prompt engineering, agentic AI frameworks, and enterprise-grade AI solution development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies.
• Build intelligent workflows and AI agents using frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, and LangGraph.
• Develop and optimize prompts, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, and conversational AI applications.
• Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise systems through REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
• Design and implement vector search solutions using databases such as Pinecone, Chroma, FAISS, Weaviate, or Azure AI Search.
• Develop and deploy AI solutions using Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, and other AI platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions.
• Ensure adherence to Responsible AI, model governance, security, privacy, and compliance standards.
• Monitor, evaluate, and enhance AI model performance, accuracy, and reliability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of software development experience with at least 1+ year of hands-on experience in Generative AI technologies.
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, C#, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, RAG, and AI application development.
• Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, or LangGraph.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, Microservices Architecture, and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with vector databases including Pinecone, Chroma, FAISS, Weaviate, or Azure AI Search.
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, or equivalent Generative AI platforms.
• Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI practices, AI security, and model lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
