Hexaware Technologies in Bengaluru seeks an AI Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, GenAI, and related software development. You will work on LLMs, prompt engineering, and GenAI app development.

Responsibilities include integrating tools, APIs, vector databases, and REST APIs, while applying SDLC and Agile practices to deliver robust AI-powered solutions.

Qualifications

• 4–12 years of hands-on AI/ML experience or related software development.
• Strong programming in Python with AI/ML frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Generative AI, LLMs and Transformer architectures.
• Hands-on with LLMs like GPT, Azure OpenAI or equivalents.
• Experience building GenAI apps using LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Agentic AI concepts: agents, tool calling, planning, memory.
• Experience integrating external tools, APIs, databases and enterprise services.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation, embeddings, vector DBs and semantic search.
• Prompt engineering, prompt optimization, structured outputs, function/tool calling.
• REST API development with FastAPI or similar.
• Experience with ML libraries: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn.
• Understanding ML concepts: supervised/unsupervised, model eval, feature engineering.
• Familiar with AI evaluation, hallucination detection and performance optimization.
• Experience with AI-powered tooling (GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, Claude Code, Windsurf).

• 4–12 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, Generative AI, or related software development.
• Strong programming experience in Python and familiarity with AI/ML development frameworks and libraries.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Transformer-based architectures.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs such as GPT, Azure Open AI or similar open source/commercial models.
• Experience building GenAI applications using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
