Job summary

Tunga Aerospace Industries Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced software engineer to lead full-stack development of Ground Control Station applications for UAV operations. You will handle frontend and backend, state management, data synchronization, and real-time telemetry pipelines.

The role emphasizes UAV communication protocols, MAVSDK integration, waypoint planning, route optimization, and high-performance networking. Expect hands-on UI/UX development for pilots and operators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in full-stack or real-time systems.
• Strong understanding of networking, UI/UX, and real-time applications.
• Experience with UAV communication protocols and mission planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development.
• Develop end-to-end Ground Control Station (GCS) applications (frontend + backend).
• Implement state management and data synchronization.
• UAV Communication & Protocols.
• Parse and integrate MAVLink and UAVCAN protocols.
• Work with MAVSDK for UAV communication and mission execution.
• Mapping & Mission Planning.
• Implement waypoint planning, route optimization, and mission visualization.
• Video & Telemetry Systems.
• Implement low-latency video decoding pipelines using GStreamer and FFmpeg.
• Develop real-time telemetry pipelines for UAV operations.
• Networking & Performance.
• Develop network communication systems using TCP/UDP.
• Optimize latency, throughput, and overall system performance.
• UI/UX & Usability.
• Develop custom UI components for pilots and operators.
• Conduct usability testing and implement iterative improvements.
