Job summary

Tunga Aerospace Industries Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a senior software engineer to design and implement the Ground Control Station (GCS) for UAV operations. You will work across frontend and backend to ensure real-time data handling, visualization, and reliable mission execution.

The role focuses on integrating UAV protocols, building robust UI components, and optimizing network performance for low latency, with collaboration across cross-functional teams in India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Software Eng or equivalent.
• 5–7 years in full-stack or real-time systems is preferred.
• Experience with UAV communication and mission planning is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development for Ground Control Station (GCS) applications.
• Implement state management and data synchronization.
• Parse MAVLink and UAVCAN protocols; work with MAVSDK.
• Develop waypoint planning, route optimization, and mission visualization.
• Build low-latency video/telemetry pipelines (GStreamer/FFmpeg).
• Develop TCP/UDP networking and optimize performance.
• Create custom UI components for pilots/operators and perform usability testing.
