Job summary

Aqilea is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms on Google Cloud. You will drive IaC with Terraform, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and develop APIs with Python and FastAPI.

Role requires 8–11 years of experience, strong PostgreSQL skills, and a solid DevOps/SRE foundation. This is a remote opportunity aimed at candidates in India, with immediate to 15 days notice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as Platform Engineer, DevOps or SRE, or similar role.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Hands-on with FastAPI or similar backend frameworks.
• Strong PostgreSQL administration and performance tuning.
• Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code expertise.
• GitHub Actions CI/CD experience.
• Strong DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering principles.
• Experience designing secure, scalable cloud architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication.
