Job summary

Capgemini in Navi Mumbai is seeking a cloud-focused developer to build and secure cloud-native applications and APIs on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will leverage Java/Spring Boot or .NET Core, manage Gravitee API Management, and contribute to scalable microservices with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

The role emphasizes offshore/global delivery collaboration, strong API security, and reliable, high-performance systems across diverse client projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications and APIs using Java (.NET/Core or Spring Boot) on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Configure, manage, and support Gravitee API Management/Gateway solutions, including API security, traffic management, and monitoring.
• Design and implement scalable microservices architectures leveraging GCP services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL.
• Collaborate with DevOps and cross-functional teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and cloud automation.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure application reliability, performance, and security.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and microservices-based architectures.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in an offshore/global delivery environment.
