Job summary

Onix seeks a DevOps GCP Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform. You will champion automation, CI/CD, and modern infrastructure using Kubernetes and IaC—building resilient platforms with governance and cost optimization in mind.

You will lead architecture discussions, mentor teams, and collaborate with cross-functional groups to align business and technical goals, while enforcing DevOps best practices and security standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering cloud-native architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong background in DevOps with automation, CI/CD, and IaC at scale.
• Hands-on containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Expertise with Terraform and infrastructure automation, governance, and security best practices.

We’re looking for a DevOps GCP Architect who excels at designing and delivering scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). If you’re passionate about automation, CI/CD, and building modern infrastructure using Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code—this role is for you.

You will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of cloud-native platforms with a strong focus on DevOps culture, automation, and operational excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, VPC, IAM).
• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
• Deep knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration using Kubernetes (GKE preferred).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
• Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Go, or Shell scripting.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
• Experience in implementing high availability, disaster recovery, and scaling strategies.
