Job summary

Tekskills Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Architect with 10-15 years of experience to design and lead cloud-native data solutions.

The role focuses on building data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse architectures on GCP with BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Looker, plus multi-cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/Databricks). Responsibilities include creating data models, data flow diagrams, and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, and migrating legacy systems to GCP.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of total experience in data architecture.
• Experience architecting solutions in Cloud Data Engineering platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Design end-to-end data architectures on GCP leveraging BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage, and Looker.
• Develop data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse architectures using best practices in GCP; AWS/Azure & Databricks preferred.
• Create logical and physical data models, data flow diagrams, integration patterns, and reference architectures.
• Architect scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Dataflow (Apache Beam), Dataproc (Spark), and/or Cloud Composer.
• Lead cloud-native modernization initiatives: migration from legacy platforms to GCP.

Responsibilities
