Job summary

Ciel HR in Bengaluru is seeking a GCP Data Analytics professional with 6-8 years of experience to design, develop, deploy and maintain Google Cloud Platform solutions. The role requires strong Python skills and hands-on work with BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Data Fusion, Looker, and Terraform.

The position is hybrid in Bengaluru, with a 12-month contract and immediate joiners preferred. Prior GCP architecture knowledge and CI/CD experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure and architecture.
• 3+ years designing, developing and deploying GCP projects (BigQuery, Data Flow, Looker, etc.).
• 3+ years scripting in Python.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Experience in Agile environments (Rally).

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Senior Software Developer will be a key member of the Global Business Systems organization with responsibility for servicing business community with Google Cloud Platform needs. This position will be responsible to design, develop, deploy, maintain code in Google Cloud Platform using services such as Big Query, Pub Sub, Data Flow, Data Fusion, Google Cloud Storage, Composer, Terraform, Looker etc. In addition to establishing and maintaining good working relationships internally, this position will participate in various cross-functional organizational initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Hands-on experience in GCP Suite such as Big Query, Pub Sub, Data Flow, Data Fusion, Google Cloud Storage, Composer, Looker, Cloud Run, Terraform, etc
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in programming languages such as Python
• Solid understanding of Google Cloud architecture
• Identify/troubleshoot application and/or code-related issues
• Demonstrate creative, strategic thinking and problem solving; able to exercise independent judgment in a highly complex environment using leading-edge technology
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills with technical and non-technical clients
• Provides status updates to the team on a regular basis

EXPERIENCE:

• 5 years or more of experience in Cloud Infrastructure and architecture
• 3 or more years of experience in designing, developing and deploying projects in GCP suite including GCP Suite such as Big Query, Data Flow, Data Fusion, Google Cloud Storage, Composer, Terraform, Looker etc
• 3 or more years of experience in scripting such as python
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical skills are an absolute must
• Proven track record of willingness and interest in learning new tools and technologies is necessary
• Experience in an Agile environment utilizing Rally

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
