Experience - 3–6 Years (hands-on GCP mandatory)
Monthly Pay - Best in industry
Working Hours - Half day - 4 hours per day, Monday to Saturday
Contract Duration - Minimum 6 months (with 30-day notice period)
Timing - Morning (9:30 AM – 1:30 PM) or Afternoon (2 PM – 6 PM) flexible
About the Role
Datavalley is looking for a GCP & Cloud Trainer who can come in for half a day, every day, and train our learners on Google Cloud Platform, basic AWS, Docker, and deployment. You will work alongside our full‑time technical mentors - they teach the coding, you teach how to deploy and run it on the cloud.
This is a fixed monthly payment role - not per‑class or per‑hour. You get paid every month. Ideal if you are a working cloud engineer looking for a steady part‑time income, or a freelancer who wants guaranteed monthly pay.
What You Will Do
- Train students on GCP core services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, BigQuery, IAM, VPC, Pub/Sub.
- Cover GCP for AI/ML: Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, Cloud Build for ML pipelines - our AI batch needs this for their client projects.
- Teach deployment on GCP: how to take code from a laptop and deploy it as a live application on the cloud.
- Cover AWS basics: EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC - enough for students to understand multi‑cloud and clear interviews.
- Teach Docker: building images, running containers, docker‑compose, pushing to container registries.
- Cover CI/CD basics: GitHub Actions or Cloud Build - students must deploy through a pipeline, not manually.
- Introduce Terraform basics: write simple infrastructure as code, plan, and apply.
- Help students during their project phase: when they need to deploy their Full Stack app or ML model to GCP, you guide them.
- Conduct hands‑on labs - not slides. Students should be working on GCP console and CLI every session.
Must Have
- 3–6 years of hands‑on experience working with GCP in a real job (not just certifications or courses).
- Must be currently using GCP at work or in freelance projects - we need someone whose knowledge is current, not from 2 years ago.
- Comfortable with: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, IAM, VPC, BigQuery.
- Docker: must use regularly - building images, running containers, basic debugging.
- Basic AWS knowledge: EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM - enough to teach the fundamentals.
- CI/CD: must have set up at least one pipeline (GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, Jenkins - any one).
- Linux comfortable: basic shell commands, SSH, file management, process troubleshooting.
- GCP Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect certification (or willing to get certified within 3 months).
- Can explain concepts clearly in English - you are teaching freshers with zero cloud experience.
- Based in Hyderabad and able to come to Cyber Towers office daily for 4 hours.
Good to Have
- Monitoring tools: Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana.
- Prior training or mentoring experience.
- Multiple cloud certifications (GCP + AWS).
What You Get
- Only 4 hours a day - morning or afternoon slot, your choice. Rest of the day is yours.
- 6‑month minimum engagement - this is not a one‑time gig, it is steady income you can count on.
- Work from Cyber Towers - professional office environment.
- Build your profile as a cloud trainer and mentor alongside your main career.
- Minimum commitment: 6 months. We invest in you and we expect you to stay for the full engagement.
- Notice period: 30 days from either side. You cannot leave mid‑batch without completing the current module.
- Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 4 hours per day (timing decided together based on your availability).
