Job summary

iDreamBiz is seeking a highly experienced GCP Cloud Engineer (10+ years) to lead secure cloud infrastructure, focusing on BFSI audits, compliance, and documentation. You will manage core GCP services, ensure governance, and drive audit readiness across multiple teams.

The role requires hands-on expertise in GCP, security controls, and audit evidence preparation, with strong communication skills to coordinate with Information Security, Risk, Compliance, IT, and application teams.

Qualifications

• Strong GCP architecture, networking, IAM, security, monitoring
• Understanding of BFSI regulatory & compliance environments

• Excellent documentation & communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure and scalable GCP cloud infrastructure.
• Manage GCP services including Compute Engine, GKE, VPC, IAM, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Monitoring, Logging, and KMS.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure follows security, compliance, and governance requirements.
• Coordinate and support BFSI and internal/external audits.
• Prepare, maintain, and provide audit-related documentation, evidence, policies, SOPs, reports, and compliance records.
• Understand audit observations, coordinate with relevant teams, and support timely closure of audit findings.
• Maintain proper documentation for access controls, change management, incident management, backup/DR, security controls, and cloud configurations.
• Work closely with Information Security, Risk, Compliance, IT, and application teams to meet regulatory and business requirements.
• Monitor cloud security, performance, availability, and compliance posture.
• Participate in risk assessments, vulnerability management, and security reviews.
• Ensure appropriate documentation and evidence are maintained for recurring audits and assessments.

• Strong understanding of audit documentation and evidence preparation.

Good to Have

• GCP certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect / Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
