Virtusa Corporation is hiring a GCP Cloud Architect in Navi Mumbai to lead hybrid cloud initiatives on GCP and AWS. You will design Terraform modules, automate deployment, and scale Kubernetes environments for self-service use, while integrating APIs and automation tooling.

The role requires 3–5 years in platform engineering, strong Linux administration, and hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Harness, Artifactory, Python, and Splunk.

Qualificações

• 3-5 years of platform engineering experience in hybrid cloud environments (GCP & AWS).
• 3-5 years of Terraform IaC experience with advanced modules for automated deployment services.
• 5+ years maintaining automated lifecycle of compute and container images in hybrid cloud environments.
• 3-5 years designing and scaling large Kubernetes environments for automated/self-service.
• 3+ years of APIs/integration experience.
• 5+ years automation experience with configuration management tools (SaltStack/Ansible) and scripting (Python/Bash).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Harness, Artifactory, Python, Splunk.
• Strong GCP & AWS cloud experience; Linux OS administration, Linux/Windows a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting across applications, networking, and systems; strong communication; self-driven in fast-paced teams.
• University degree in Information Systems, CS, Engineering or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement hybrid cloud solutions on GCP and AWS.
• Develop advanced Terraform modules for automated deployment and self-service capabilities.
• Maintain automated lifecycle of compute and container images.
• Design and scale large Kubernetes environments for automated use.
• Develop and integrate APIs and other services as needed.
• Automate configuration management using SaltStack/Ansible and scripting languages.
• Utilize tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Harness, Artifactory, Splunk for daily operations.
• Collaborate with teams and present findings to leadership.

We are hiring for \"GCP Cloud Architect\" at Virtusa.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of platform engineering experience supporting a hybrid cloud environment (GCP & AWS)
• 3-5 years of proven experience using Hashicorp Terraform for Infrastructure as Code to write advanced modules for deploying infrastructure or services which will provide automated & self-service deployment services.
• 5+ years of proven experience developing and maintaining the automated lifecycle of compute and containerized images for standard use and consumption within a hybrid cloud environment.
• 3-5 years applied experience in designing and scaling large server and Kubernetes environments preferably used in automated and/or self-service environments.
• 3+ years of experience developing or working with APIs and/or other integration solutions.
• 5+ years of proven automation experience working with configuration management tools(SaltStack/Ansible), Python/bash or equivalent operational scripting experience
• Advanced applied knowledge and experience using some of the following tools: Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Harness, Artifactory, Python, Splunk.
• Strong and hands-on GCP & AWS cloud experience required.
• Strong Linux OS administration / configuration experience required. (Linux & Windows a plus)
• Possess troubleshooting skills that spans applications, networking, and systems.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills. Must be comfortable with presenting findings to others, including leadership.
• Self-driven, willing to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment both individually and as part of a team.
• University degree in the field of Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
