Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end application and database architecture.
• Design and optimize multi-region AlloyDB PostgreSQL environments.
• Troubleshoot complex database performance and scalability issues.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, HA/DR and database optimization initiatives.
• Define architecture, security, DevOps and reliability standards.
• Conduct architecture reviews and mentor engineering/DBA teams.

Mandatory Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience
• 3+ years of Application / Solution / Technical Architecture
• Strong PostgreSQL / Database Internals experience
• Hands-on experience with GCP AlloyDB
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL/AlloyDB performance tuning
• Query optimization, EXPLAIN/ANALYZE, indexing, locking, transactions, VACUUM/AUTOVACUUM
• Experience with HA, DR, replication and multi-region architecture
• Strong GCP cloud architecture and migration experience
