Qualifications

• Infra-as-code with Terraform; CI/CD pipelines for data workloads.

Hands-on GCP Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud-based data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The role focuses on data warehousing, relational workloads, transformation pipelines, orchestration, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD for data workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build and manage data warehousing and analytics solutions using BigQuery.
• Develop and manage relational workloads using AlloyDB.
• Create and maintain data transformation pipelines using dbt.
• Orchestrate end-to-end data workflows using Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow).
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data and cloud workloads.
• Write efficient SQL for data modeling, transformation, and reporting.
• Follow modern development practices including vibe coding and clean code standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, security, scalability, and reliability of GCP solutions.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform and modern data engineering practices.
• Strong foundation in GCP and advanced SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery, AlloyDB, and dbt.
• Experience with workflow orchestration using Cloud Composer / Airflow.
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Must be a hands-on developer (not a pure coordination role).
• Exposure to vibe coding and modern development practices.
• Relevant certifications in Google BigQuery, SQL, Python, or Google Dataflow are desirable.

Preferred Locations

Hyderabad, Noida and Vijayawada (locations in India are preferred).

Optional / Additional

Erwin Data Modeler exposure is listed as not mandatory.
