Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations and clinical assessments for patients with gastrointestinal and related conditions.
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and liver disorders.
• Develop appropriate treatment plans based on clinical evaluation, investigations, and patient needs.
• Interpret relevant laboratory, imaging, endoscopic, and diagnostic findings.
• Perform or oversee appropriate gastroenterology procedures within the scope of qualification and clinical expertise.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans when clinically required.
• Coordinate with physicians, surgeons, nurses, diagnostic teams, and other specialists for multidisciplinary patient care.
• Provide clear explanations regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, and follow-up care to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate patient records, clinical notes, investigation reports, and treatment documentation.
• Follow established clinical protocols, medical ethics, infection-control standards, and patient-safety practices.
• Participate in clinical discussions, case reviews, and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated with advances in gastroenterology, diagnostic techniques, treatment approaches, and clinical guidelines.
