Job summary

CAVA Athleisure Pvt Ltd is seeking a hands-on Garment Technician to own fit and technical development from design brief to production approval. The role centers on fitted activewear where construction, fabric behavior, comfort and performance must align.

You will translate design intent into precise tech packs and specs, lead sampling and fit sessions, and collaboratively resolve issues with vendors and production teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

• Review grading and production samples against approved specs; resolve deviations to final approval.
• Collaborate with design, sourcing and manufacturing to maintain quality on tight development timelines.

THE ROLE

CAVA is hiring a hands-on Garment Technician to own fit and technical development from design brief to production approval. This role focuses on fitted activewear and other close-to-body products, where construction, fabric behaviour, comfort and performance must work together.

NON-NEGOTIABLE

Strong technical knowledge of garment fit, construction and stretch fabrics.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

• Translate design intent into precise tech packs, measurement specifications, construction details and BOMs; maintain clear revision records.
• Lead sampling and fit sessions; diagnose issues and send specific, actionable corrections to pattern teams, factories and vendors.
• Assess stretch, recovery, support, comfort, workmanship and functionality across leggings, sports bras, fitted tops and similar styles.
• Review grading, size sets and production samples against approved fit and specifications; resolve deviations through final approval.
• Partner with design, sourcing and manufacturing teams to deliver consistent product quality on tight development timelines.

WHAT YOU BRING

• At least 5-6 years of hands-on garment technical experience, with substantial work on fitted or close-to-body categories.
• Deep working knowledge of fit, measurements, grading, pattern and construction corrections, and stretch or performance fabrics.
• Experience with sports bras, leggings, activewear, sportswear, lingerie or innerwear; experience at an established brand is preferred.
• Ability to independently spot technical problems, explain the fix clearly and follow it through with vendors and production teams.
• Required: ability to create and refine patterns independently from tech packs and fit feedback, including fitted activewear styles.
