Job summary

Light & Wonder in Pune, India is seeking a Sound Designer to join our Studio teams. You will craft sounds for casino game experiences, collaborate with animators, developers and the Creative Director, and ensure assets meet project timelines.

Working closely and collaboratively with animators, developers, Creative Director andLeadArtist,theSoundDesigneris responsible forcreating outstanding sounds of the games, base game,featuresand Marketing products. Their work isdirectly linkedto the sound signature of ourcreationswhich guarantees their success. Applying theirexpertise, the SoundDesignercontributes to all sound aspects of projects and games, such as the following:

Obviously passionate by thesoundsaspect of a game, TheSoundDesignermust be versatile to createsoundsconcepts in a range of styles and themes. Their Sound Artistic sensibilities and understandingiswhat will push them to create unmatchedsoundsquality and explore newhorizon.

TheSoundDesignerwill ensure intellectual property and copyright guidelines arefollowedand production deadlines are met. They mustpossessa good knowledge of casino gaming overall, casino gamesoundsand game play.

TheSoundDesignermust have the creative skills to produce originalsounds,they will produce work quickly and efficiently and be fully conversant with the current tools of the trade.They willrequirea strong knowledge in sounds format OGG vsWAV, andbe abletoidentifycorrectsounds optimization for Mobile purposesegmono vs stereo.The successful candidate will be able to design rich and innovative sounds as well as have an in-depth knowledge of sound compositions, instrumentalsoundsand other key aspects ofsoundsediting. A drive to grow and learn, curiosity, passion forthe tradeand the desire to meet challenges.

• Technical aptitude and rigor
• Use of common communication tools, MS Office, Slack, Teams
• Knowledge of JIRA and agilemethodology
