Aadeshwar Enterprise Mumbai is seeking a Furniture AutoCAD Draftsman to convert furniture designs into production-ready drawings. Immediate joining for a full-time role based in Maharashtra.

Role focuses on creating accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings, dimensions, sections and construction details for sofas, chairs, tables and beds. Collaboration with design, production and factory teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of drafting experience in furniture/manufacturing.
• Strong AutoCAD skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to translate designs into production-ready drawings.
• Knowledge of furniture construction and joinery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for sofas, chairs, tables, beds and other furniture products.
• Convert design concepts, sketches and reference images into manufacturing drawings.
• Prepare accurate dimensions, sections, elevations, construction details and specifications.
• Coordinate with the Design, Production and Factory teams to ensure drawings are practical and production-ready.
• Make drawing revisions based on design or production requirements.
• Prepare and maintain drawings for new product development.
• Maintain an organised library of product drawings and revisions.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and minimise production errors due to drafting.

Furniture AutoCAD Draftsman

Experience: 2-5 Years

Salary: 2.5 3.5 LPA, depending on experience

About the Role

We are looking for a Furniture AutoCAD Draftsman who can convert furniture designs, sketches and concepts into accurate, detailed and production-ready technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for sofas, chairs, tables, beds and other furniture products.
• Convert design concepts, sketches and reference images into manufacturing drawings.
• Prepare accurate dimensions, sections, elevations, construction details and specifications.
• Understand furniture construction, materials, joinery and manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with the Design, Production and Factory teams to ensure drawings are practical and production-ready.
• Make drawing revisions based on design or production requirements.
• Prepare and maintain drawings for new product development.
• Maintain an organised library of product drawings and revisions.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and minimise production errors due to drafting.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD - Mandatory.
• 2-5 years of experience in drafting, preferably in furniture manufacturing / interior / product design.
• Ability to understand furniture designs and translate them into technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of dimensions, proportions and construction details.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good coordination and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience with sofa/upholstery and wooden furniture.
• Knowledge of SketchUp or other 3D software.
• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Product Design, Architecture, Drafting or a related field.
