Job summary

Basti Ki Pathshala Foundation is seeking a motivated fundraising intern to engage individuals and groups to support education. You will design campaigns, track donations, and share impact with supporters from your home.

You will also help grow the donor base through colleges and social media, while receiving training and feedback from the team.

Qualifications

DESCRIPTION

In the bastis where we work, many children grow up without ever stepping into a classroom. Basti Ki Pathshala Foundation is changing that. We run free learning spaces where children from underserved neighbourhoods get teachers, books, and a fair chance at education. None of it runs on its own. It runs on people who care enough to ask others to contribute. That is where you come in.

Responsibilities

• Start conversations with individuals, institutions, and community groups, and turn their goodwill into support for a child's education.
• Design and run your own fundraising campaigns and drives. Our team trains you, sharpens your ideas, and stands with you while you execute them.
• Stay connected with the people who donate through you. Thank them, update them on the impact, and keep clean records of every rupee raised.
• Take the foundation's work to your college, your locality, and your social media, so the circle of supporters keeps growing.

What you take back

• Real, usable skills: talking to people, persuading with honesty, planning campaigns, and managing donor relationships.
• A certificate of completion when you finish the internship.
• A letter of recommendation that strengthens your applications for colleges and jobs.
• Proof, in the form of children studying, that your effort turned into something real.

Performance-based stipend: 20% of the total funds raised by the intern.
