Citco in Ahmedabad is seeking a fund accounting professional to administer administration agreements for hedge fund clients and support NAV calculations, financial statements, and performance reporting.

The role emphasizes ownership of tasks, timely delivery, and collaboration with global teams in a high-volume environment.

Qualificações

• Degree in Accounting or Finance or currently studying for a professional qualification.
• 2–3 years in financial services with high-volume operations; hedge fund experience is a plus.
• Strong financial, accounting, and analytical skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Administer administration agreements for a portfolio of hedge fund clients.
• Consolidate and validate handovers across teams and locations.
• Prepare and review Net Asset Value calculations, financial statements and reports.
• Value hedge fund portfolio holdings.
• Analyze fund performance and prepare P&L related reports.
• Own assigned work and ensure timely completion per client service agreements.
• Escalate priority issues to supervisor promptly and with detail.
• Maintain relationships with Citco COE, Operational Support, Middle Office, Pricing, Investor Relations and Fund Accounting teams.

About You:

• Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance related area and/or studying for a professional accounting qualification
• 2-3 years of experience in Financial Services with high volume operational environment and/ or hedge fund industry is an advantage
• Display an active interest in the financial markets and hedge fund industry
• Strong financial and/or accounting and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel etc. )

Your Role:

• Performing the administration of and any services pursuant to administration agreements in respect of a portfolio of hedge fund clients;
• Consolidation and validation review of functional handovers across teams and locations
• Preparation and/or review of Net Asset Value calculations, financial statements and associated reports
• Valuation of hedge fund portfolio holdings
• Analysis of fund performance and prepare performance/P and L related reports
• Demonstrate ownership of assigned work and ensure timely completion, in line with demanding client service agreements
• Escalate priority issues to supervisor and/or assistant vice president in a timely and detailed manner
• Maintaining day-to-day relationships with Citco Internal COE and non-COE teams including Operational Support, Middle Office, Pricing, Investor Relations and Relationship Management Fund Accounting teams
• Support queries from external parties, including clients, auditors and other advisors
• Maintain a current and thorough understanding of applicable best practice policies and client specific agreements.
• Support training of new fund accountants and on-boarding of new clients and/or funds to Citco
• Assist supervisor and/or assistant vice president as required
• Contribute to team and/or departmental initiatives
