Job summary

State Street is seeking an Associate – 200 Level Portfolio Administration Analyst to provide operational and administrative support to Equity Portfolio Management teams across global markets. You will monitor cash, positions, trade activity, and portfolio health, ensuring accurate records and timely reconciliations.

  • 2–4 years hands-on experience in Corporate Actions or investment operations.
  • Understanding of end-to-end corporate action processing and global market practices.
  • Familiarity with investment platforms such as State Street Alpha, Bloomberg, and Charles River.
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, investigation, and reconciliation abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operational management of Equity portfolios.

  • Review and investigate portfolio-related queries raised by Portfolio Managers and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate books and records across assigned portfolios.
  • Support month-end and period-end activities including validation and sign-off of balances.
  • Participate in portfolio onboarding, fund launches, and client transitions.

Who We Are Looking For:

The Associate – 200 Level Portfolio Administration Analystis responsible forproviding operational and administrative support to Equity Portfolio Management teams across EMEA and global markets. The role focuses on oversight of cash, positions, trade activity, portfolio health, reconciliations, cash forecasting, fund events, and investment accounting controls to ensure portfolios are accuratelymaintainedand supported throughout the investment lifecycle.

The analyst acts as a key point of contact for Portfolio Managers, Operations teams, Custodians, Trade Administration, Performance, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient portfolio management andtimelyresolution of operational issues.


What You Will Be Responsible For:

As Associate you will:



  • Support day-to-day operational management of Equity portfolios.

  • Monitor portfolio health including cash positions, holdings, trade activity, and exceptions.

  • Strong understanding of Portfolio Administration, Investment Operations, and Asset Management.

  • Knowledge of Equity products, cash management, trade lifecycle, and investment accounting.

  • Experience in portfolio oversight, reconciliations, cash forecasting, or middle-office operations.

  • Familiarity with State Street Alpha, RKS, TLP, Charles River, Bloomberg, or similar investment platforms.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical skills.

  • Strong problem-solving, investigation, and reconciliation skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.


Education & Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline

  • Two to four years of hands-on experience in Corporate Actions or investment operations

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end corporate action processing and global market practices
