Job summary

Citco is a global leader in fund services and corporate governance with a strong Private Equity focus. As part of the Private Equity team, you will maintain books, calculate NAVs and prepare financial statements, while reviewing carried interest and allocations for investors.

You will interact with clients, respond to investor queries, and support ongoing projects to evolve the business. Strong English, accounting credentials, and PE experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Professional accounting qualification – CA, CPA, ACCA or similar.
• 2–4 years’ experience in accounting for financial services, especially Private Equity/Asset Management/Fund Administration.
• Working knowledge of Investran or similar PE systems (e.g., E-Front).
• Experience in Limited Partnership accounting.
• Private equity/real estate fund administration experience.
• Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledger and financial statements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Motivated, bright, and diligent; able to meet deadlines; team player.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining books and records and calculating fund Net Asset Values.
• Reviewing and preparing financial statements and reports, including performance metrics.
• Reviewing and calculating carried interest, performance and incentive fees.
• Preparing calculations and investor allocations for capital calls, distributions and equalisations.
• Coordinating and processing payments and other transactions.
• Primary day-to-day contact with clients and other fund participants.
• Collaborating with Investor Relations to respond to queries and disseminate capital activity.
• Participating in projects related to business evolution and expansion.
• Identifying and escalating material issues affecting service delivery.
• Any other functions as part of the Company's business.

Responsibilities

Your Role

• Maintaining books and records and calculating fund Net Asset Values;
• Reviewing and/or preparing financial statements and associated reports, including performance metrics;
• Reviewing and/or calculating carried interest/performance/incentive fees;
• Reviewing and/or preparing calculations and investor allocations for capital calls, distributions and equalisations;
• Coordinating and/or processing payments and other transactions;
• Acting as a primary day-to-day contact with clients and other fund participants;
• Work closely with the Investor Relations team to respond to investor queries and to disseminate capital activity and other investor notices;
• Participating in projects that may be defined from time to time in connection with the continuing expansion and evolution of the business;
• Identifying and escalating any material issues effecting service delivery;
• Any other functions required as part of the business of the Company.

Qualifications

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Professional accounting qualification – CA, CPA, ACCA or similar
• Minimum of 2 - 4 years’ experience in accounting for the financial services sector, particularly Private Equity, Asset Management or Fund Administration.
• Working knowledge of Investran highly desirable (or other Private Equity system e.g. E-Front)
• Experience in Limited Partnership accounting
• Private equity/real estate fund administration experience
• Experienced in reviewing and preparing general ledger and financial statements.
• Proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
• Motivated, bright and diligent individual who is driven to meet deadlines.
• A team player who is able to manage individual responsibilities.
• Sound judgment, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.).
