Job summary

Citco in Ahmedabad, India, is seeking a seasoned professional to lead a team of analysts within Fund Administration. You will ensure SLAs are met and drive process improvements across Loan Administration and related projects.

The role requires 4+ years in financial services with leadership, broad product knowledge across hedges, mutual funds, fixed income and derivatives, and strong communication and customer service skills. An accounting designation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master level degree.
• 4+ years in Financial Services with leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Hedge or Mutual Funds and fixed income/derivative products.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience mentoring and coaching staff.
• Professional accounting designation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support a team of analysts to ensure SLAs are met efficiently.
• Escalate client or staffing issues to your Manager promptly.
• Define KRIs and KPIs and collaborate on mitigating plans around risk and resources.
• Liaise with service providers, vendors, agents, counterparties and clients to resolve issues.
• Review materiality of portfolio risk with respect to cash and position differences during sign-off.
• Contribute to Loan Administration projects and initiatives to move the business forward.
• Assist in migrating tasks from other locations and onboarding new clients.
• Engage in staff development conversations with the analyst team on goals and progress.
• Contribute to the hiring process and identify suitable candidates.

Your Role:

• Oversee and support a team of analysts, to ensure Service Level Agreements are met in an effective and efficient fashion.
• Escalate client or staffing issues to your Manager in a timely manner.
• Work with your Manager on KRIs and KPIs and collaborate on mitigating plans around risk and resource constraints.
• Liaise with service providers, vendors, agents, counterparties and clients to ensure the timely resolution of issues and exceptions.
• Review and assess the materiality of portfolio risk with respect to unsupported cash and position differences, as part of the sign off process.
• Contribute towards projects and initiatives that aim to drive the business forward, as it relates to Loan Administration and processing.
• Engage in the migration of tasks from other locations into your team, to ensure of a seamless transition, along with the conversion or launches of any new clients, as it relates to Loan holdings.
• Actively engage in staff development conversations with the analyst team on a regular basis, to ensure members of the team understand their goals and continuously working towards them.
• Contribute to the hiring process and seek the right candidates for the team.
