Job summary

The Citco Group Limited in Pune is seeking a Senior Fund Administrator to manage hedge fund client portfolios, NAV processing and related deliverables on-site. You will liaise with internal COE teams to ensure precision and timely reporting, while overseeing daily workflows and cost controls.

The role requires a degree in accounting/finance and 6–8 years in financial services, with strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance or studying for professional qualification.
• 6-8 years of experience in financial services with high-volume operations.
• Experience managing 2-3 team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Responsibilities

• Administer hedge fund client portfolios under administration agreements.
• Review and sign off NAV calculations, financial statements, and related reports.
• Review/authorize payments and other transactions.
• Value hedge fund holdings and analyze fund performance.
• Prepare performance and P&L related reports.
• Collaborate with internal COE teams and client service units.
• Plan and manage daily workflows and SLAs for deliverables.
• Ensure resources are deployed to meet production, overtime and cost targets.
• Adhere to applicable policies and client agreements.
• Coordinate year-end processes with audits, filings and tax services.
• Mentor team members and oversee vacation and appraisals.
• Onboard new clients and migrations.
• Support department initiatives and drive continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

• Performing the administration of and any services pursuant to administration agreements in respect of a portfolio of hedge fund clients
• Review and sign-off of Net Asset Value calculations, financial statements and associated reports
• Reviewing/Authorizing payments and other transactions
• Valuation of hedge fund portfolio holdings
• Analysis of fund performance and prepare performance/PandL related reports
• Building relationships and working closely with Citco Internal COE and non-COE teams including Operational Support, Middle Office, Pricing, Investor Relations and Relationship Management Fund Accounting teams
• Planning, scheduling and managing the daily workflows of all client deliverables within the team
• Effective monitoring of deliverables to ensure high SLA compliance within set accuracy standards
• Developing, adhering and maintaining target resource deployment to ensure adequate resources for production, overtime and cost management
• Ensure adherence of applicable best practice policies and client specific agreements.
• Address and/or escape all material issues effecting the NAV production process or client relationship in general to Vice President in a detailed and timely manner
• Managing and coordinating the Year end process with respect to audit timelines, Financial Statement Preparation, Regulatory filings, Tax services, etc.
• Liaising closely with the Supervisor to identify and implement on the job training initiatives for team members; own team related duties including vacation management, performance appraisals, etc.
• Engage and own intra-office migrations and/ or new client on boarding
• Contribute and own departmental initiatives while supporting team initiatives
• Drive forward continuous improvement, seeking efficiencies while maintaining adequate controls

Qualifications

About You:

• Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance related area and/or studying for a professional accounting qualification
• 6-8 years of experience in Financial Services with high volume operational environment and/ or hedge fund industry
• Managing and/or leading employees for 2-3 years
• Excellent analytical, problem solving skills with high degree of attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
