Job summary

Qualifications

• 15+ years of asset management experience with AIF III funds.
• Expertise in Indian equities and exposure to international markets.
• Proven track record in managing AIFs and delivering performance.
• Deep knowledge of SEBI AIF regulations, risk management, and compliance.
• Strong network with institutional investors, HNIs, and UHNIs.
• Expertise in portfolio management, valuation, and financial modeling.
• Leadership in driving investment strategies and high-performing teams.
• Background in quantitative modeling or investing.
• MA Economics / CFA / CMT / CA preferred.

Job description

We are seeking a highly accomplished professional to lead our AIF Category (III), Asset Management division. This leadership role is responsible for defining investment strategies, managing fund performance, and driving growth through innovative investment approaches while ensuring compliance with SEBI regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust investment and trading strategies such as long / short, macro investing for AIFs across category (III), ensuring superior risk-adjusted returns.
• Oversee portfolio construction, asset allocation, and performance tracking to maximize investor value using systematic approaches.
• Identify high-potential investment opportunities, allocate capital efficiently and actively managed investment portfolios.
• Build strong relationships with HNIs, UHNIs, family offices, institutional investors, and distributors to raise capital.
• Ensure adherence to SEBI regulations and evolving compliance frameworks for AIFs.
• Lead and mentor a team of investment professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Stay ahead of macroeconomic trends, policy changes, and competitive dynamics to drive strategic decisions.
• Be responsible for funds’ performance P&L.

Key Qualifications & Experience

• 15+ years of experience in asset management, AIF category (III) leveraged funds’ with exposure to long short investment styles.
• Expertise in domestic Indian equities, exposure to international equities.
