Job summary

Kaufman Rossin seeks a Fund Accountant Associate in Bangalore to join KRAIS, our rapidly growing fund administration unit. You will perform end-to-end portfolio fund accounting, reconciliations, NAV workpapers, and financial statements for hedge funds and private equity clients, collaborating with teams in the US.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, have strong Excel skills, and a good grasp of investments. Experience with Bloomberg or Paxus is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Understanding of investments, securities, and financial markets.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attentive to details and both quick and accurate in handling them.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end processes of portfolio fund accounting including fund transactions, reconciliations, valuations, corporate action processing, and production of financial and investor statements.
• Preparation of Net Asset Value workpapers and reports, along with performance reports to be used by investment managers, investors, and third parties.
• Preparation of financial statements including statement of assets and liabilities, schedule of net asset value per share, statement of operations, statement of changes in shareholders’ equity, and statement of cash flows.
• Ensure investments and securities are accounted for correctly including equities, fixed income, options, futures, private placements, private equity investments and many other derivative investments

Kaufman Rossin Alternative Investment Services (KRAIS) is seekingFund Accountant Associates to join our rapidly growing fund administration company. KRAIS is a full-service fund administrator that provides full administration services including portfolio accounting and investor services, audit liaison, financial statement preparation, fund start-up services as well as tax and regulatory reporting to our alternative investment fund clients.

How You’ll Contribute:

• Perform end-to-end processes of portfolio fund accounting including fund transactions, reconciliations, valuations, corporate action processing, and production of financial and investor statements.
