Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Hardware Verification Engineer to lead verification across IP, blocks and SoC levels. You will design, verify, and optimize digital/analog/RF/physical interfaces and test systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet performance goals.

The role requires strong SystemVerilog/Verilog proficiency, UVM/OVM methodology, and hands-on experience with AMBA protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 2–6 years in Electrical/Electronics or computer engineering verification.
• Strong understanding of functional verification and verification flow.
• Experience at IP/block/SoC level verification and debugging.
• Proficient in SystemVerilog/Verilog and UVM/OVM methodologies.
• Hands-on with AMBA interfaces AXI/AHB/APB and related protocols.
• Knowledge of Verilog/System Verilog, digital simulation and debugging.
• Experience with UART, I2C, SPI, QSPI, I3C, eMMC, CAN; PCIe/USB, DDR/LDDR as desired.
• Perl or Python scripting; willingness to learn and take on responsibilities.
• Familiar with industry-standard debugging tools and waveform viewers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Will be responsible for verification of IP, Block or Subsystem at Soc Level
• Generate appropriate documentation for verification (e.g. test plan, test strategy document, assertion list etc)
• Responsible for analyse / debug given blocks/tasks in verification
• Should be able to develop and own the verification environment, verification components developed

Requirements

• 2-6 years of experience with a Bachelors/ Master’s degree in the field of Electrical, Electronics or computer engineering
• Should have good understanding of verification flow, challenges and requirements of functional verification
• Should have worked on IP level or Block level or SoC level functional verification
• Skilled in the aspects of digital verification such as constrained random verification, functional coverage, code coverage, assertions, methodology & philosophy
• Expert in System Verilog, Verilog and OVM/UVM verification methodology
• Should have working experience on AMBA interface protocols (AXI, AHB, APB)
• Knowledge of Verilog/System Verilog, digital simulation and debug is a must
• Hands on experience on working one or more of the following protocols is a must – UART, I2C, SPI, QSPI, I3C, eMMC, CAN,
• Hands on experience on working with one or more of following protocols is desired – PCIe, USB, DDR, LPDDR, GBE, SATA
• Experience with Perl, python or similar scripting language is required
• Ability to adopt & learn quickly and willingness to proactively take on responsibilities beyond the job description to accomplish team goals
• Working knowledge of industry standard debug tools, waveform viewer is essential
