Job summary

Thakral One Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Functional Product Analyst – Temenos Core Banking to analyse business requirements, design functional specifications, and provide SME support across T24 modules.

You will aid solution design, testing, and BAU activities, ensuring processes align with Temenos out-of-the-box functionality and business needs. The role emphasizes functional analysis, documentation, and governance, with responsibilities spanning BRD/FSD work, test support, RCA analysis, and SDLC

Qualifications

• Experience with Temenos T24 core banking systems.
• Strong knowledge across Core, Accounting, Trade Finance, Treasury, and AA modules.
• Experience in implementation projects with user-facing roles.
• Understanding banking processes and financial services.

Responsibilities

• Analyse BRDs and translate them into detailed FSDs/HLSDs with walkthroughs for users and testing teams.
• Review test case documents and support SIT test creation.
• Conduct issue analysis and simulation, documenting RCA and sharing with stakeholders.
• Create product-based POC documents for business users when requested.
• Produce SDLC artefacts including specifications, layouts, diagrams, and manuals.
• Provide functional clarifications for T24 modules and support requirement definition, solution design, and technical specification design.
• Deliver BAU support for branches including troubleshooting and QA.
• Collaborate with IT and business partners to ensure functional alignment.

As a Functional Product Analyst – Temenos Core Banking, you will analyse business requirements, design functional specifications, and provide subject matter expertise across T24 modules. You will support solution design, testing, and BAU activities, ensuring banking processes are mapped effectively to Temenos out‑of‑the‑box functionality and aligned with business needs.

What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed

Functional Analysis & Documentation

• Analyse BRDs and translate them into detailed FSDs/HLSDs, providing walkthroughs to users and testing teams.
• Review test case documents and support SIT test creation.
• Conduct issue analysis and simulation, documenting RCA and sharing with stakeholders.
• Create product‑based POC documents for business users when requested.
• Produce SDLC artefacts including specifications, layouts, diagrams, and manuals.

Domain Expertise

• Provide functional clarifications for T24 modules such as Core/Accounting, Trade Finance, Treasury, AA‑Retail, AA‑Deposits, and AA‑Loans.
• Perform system impact analysis and support requirement definition, solution design, and technical specification design.
• Set up parameters and configurations including TAABS.
• Deliver BAU support for branches including troubleshooting and QA.
• Collaborate with IT and business partners to ensure functional alignment.

Governance & Assurance

• Ensure functional specifications and configurations adhere to banking standards and compliance requirements.
• Document risks, issues, and provide recommendations for optimisation.
• Support governance routines by maintaining functional artefacts and documentation.
• Compare functional outcomes against requirements and recommend improvements.
• Support version upgrades, updates, and architecture changes in T24.
• Drive continuous improvement in functional analysis and delivery practices.

Experience

• You have 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Temenos T24 core banking systems.
• You have strong functional domain knowledge across Core, Accounting, Trade Finance, Treasury, and AA modules.
• You have experience in implementation projects with user‑facing roles.
• You have strong understanding of banking processes and financial services.

Technical Expertise

• You have hands‑on experience setting up parameters and configurations including TAABS.
• You have knowledge of T24 interfaces with third‑party systems (preferred).
• You have experience with test automation (preferred).
• You have good knowledge of T24 Accounting, Limits, and core modules.
• You have understanding of T24 architecture, version upgrades, and updates.
• You have strong working knowledge of MS Office applications.
