Principal Consultant / Senior Principal Consultant – Risk Management Consulting

Consultants offer advice and expertise to clients to help them improve their business performance in terms of operations and structure. These roles are client‑facing and have a direct impact on consulting outcomes. Working closely with our clients, Oracle consulting (OCSC) professionals design, build, and implement strategic solutions that enhance client business performance.

Your Role

• Adapt existing methods to create best solutions to solve complex business problems.
• Understand the strategic requirements and direction of the clients and offer solutions.
• Use considerable judgment to determine solutions and seek guidance on complex problems.
• Interact with peers and/or management (CXO levels) at a client and/or within Oracle.

Specific Responsibilities

• Support project teams engaged in the successful delivery of a wide range of initiatives, aligning Risk Management with business strategy.
• Work with customer management to develop risk and compliance strategies, including:
  • Defining access controls to check segregation of duties (SoD) violations in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.
  • Defining transaction/audit controls to detect error, fraud, or policy violations across processes such as Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Hire-to-Retire, etc.
  • Developing approaches to implement risk monitoring and reporting strategies.
  • Implementing end‑to‑end risk management cloud to develop enterprise‑value business solutions as part of the broader digital compliance strategy.
  • Supporting development of Oracle’s IP by driving initiatives around market research, points of view, capability development, thought capital, knowledge management, etc.
  • Maintaining an understanding of and continuously learning about advancements in regulations, technology, and innovations across risk identification, analysis, assessment, and mitigation.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of combined compliance and consulting experience.
• Solid understanding of Finance/HCM/SCM functions, operating models, supporting organization structures, and process best practices.
• Working knowledge of Risk Management Cloud modules such as Advanced Access Control, Advanced Financial Control, Advanced Access Request, Access Certification, and Financial Reporting Compliance.
• Working knowledge of finance technologies, including EBS R12 and Fusion modules such as GL, AP, AR, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate with clients, lead workshops, document and understand requirements.
• Strong competence in developing presentations using MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in commerce; advanced degrees (CA, CPA, ACCA, ICWA, MBA) desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with finance technologies such as EBS R12 & Fusion.
• Product industry experience (Telecommunications, Banking and Financial Services, Public Sector, Retail, Engineering & Construction, Professional Services).
