Job summary

UST in Pune, India, seeks a software engineering professional to act as technical owner of multiple functions within automotive infotainment projects. You will manage requirements, changes, testing, and defects while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a Master’s in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and at least two years in systems development, Linux/Android, and SDLC. Fluent English and knowledge of CAN/LIN/Ethernet/UDS are essential; Jira/Confluence experience

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in systems development, including Linux/Android engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in the SDLC, systems engineering, integration, and testing.
• Fluent English is mandatory, as it is the official project language.
• Strong understanding of automotive infotainment systems and protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS).

Responsibilities

• Act as technical owner of one or more functions, ensuring they work according to requirements.

• Manage testing: design and execute test specifications, supported by a testing team.
• Manage defects: find and track them until the fix is released in an official software version.
• Produce periodic reports on planned changes, project milestones, open topics, change ticket statuses, and defect statistics.
• Document meeting minutes, telephone conferences, and agreements as protocols.
