Job summary

Fareportal in Pune, India is seeking a Software Engineer (.NET, React) to join a self-sufficient offshore team building and maintaining components of a complex e-commerce platform for travel.

You will collaborate with teams in NY, apply SOLID principles, and work with Web API, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, and front-end frameworks like Angular or React, plus SQL Server. On-site role with growth in Azure DevOps, Docker/Kubernetes preferred.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year of experience in .NET development and systems design.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#/ .NET Framework, Web API, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, Microservices.
• Experience with Angular or React.js.
• Experience in JavaScript & jQuery.
• Experience in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Understanding and practice of SOLID, DRY, YAGNI, KISS principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain components of a complex proprietary e-commerce platform for travel.
• Collaborate with offshore team and teams in NY and other locations.

Role Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer who will manage project goals, contribute to product strategy and help define best practices. The right candidate will join a self-sufficient offshore team responsible for developing and maintaining components of a complex proprietary e-commerce platform that drives the air travel industry. The right candidate will also have opportunities to collaborate with teams in NY and other locations around the world

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 years of experience of .Net programming and systems design.
• Strong hands on development experience in C#/ .Net framework, Web API, ASP.NET MVC, , .net Core, Microservices.
• Experience with Angular or Reactjs.
• Experience in JavaScript & jQuery.
• Experience in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Understanding and practical usage of software development principles (i.e SOLID, DRY, YAGNI, KISS etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Devops, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with NoSQL Databases.
