Zion Cloud Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Full-stack Power BI Developer in Hyderabad to own BI solutions end-to-end—from data extraction and SQL development to data modelling, Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service administration.

The role demands 3–6+ years of hands-on BI/Power BI experience, onsite work, and a strong proficiency in T-SQL, star schemas, and DAX. You will design reports, optimize models, and support the full BI lifecycle.

Qualifications

6+ years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence / Power BI Development.
Experience delivering end-to-end Power BI solutions.
Strong T-SQL expertise including complex queries, views, stored procedures, and query tuning.
Deep understanding of dimensional modeling (star schema, fact/dimension tables, SCD).
Proficiency in building Power BI semantic models and practicing Power Query (M).
Advanced DAX skills including time intelligence and performance optimization.
Experience with Power BI Service administration (workspaces, apps, pipelines, gateways, refresh, RLS).
Familiarity with Git/PBIP or equivalent source-control/release-management practices.

Responsibilities

Design and develop end-to-end BI and Power BI solutions.

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled Full-Stack Power BI Developer to own BI solutions end-to-end, from data extraction and SQL development to data modelling, Power Query, DAX, report development, deployment, and Power BI Service administration.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and develop end-to-end Business Intelligence and Power BI solutions.
Build reporting-ready SQL tables, views, stored procedures, and data structures from ERP and transactional data sources.
Develop optimised T-SQL queries, troubleshoot performance issues, and tune queries.
Design and implement dimensional data models, including star schemas, fact tables, dimensions, fact grain, and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD).
Build and maintain high-quality Power BI semantic models.
Develop complex data transformations using Power Query / M.
Write advanced DAX measures and calculations, including time intelligence and performance-optimised calculations.
Work with calculation groups and advanced DAX techniques to improve model flexibility and maintainability.
Design intuitive, user-friendly, and visually effective Power BI reports and dashboards.
Manage the complete Power BI development lifecycle from data preparation through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Administer Power BI Service, including workspaces, apps, deployment pipelines, gateways, refresh schedules, incremental refresh, security, and access management.
Implement and maintain Row-Level Security (RLS) and appropriate access controls.
Establish development standards, naming conventions, documentation, performance guidelines, and reusable BI patterns.
Follow strong source control and release management practices using Git, Power BI Projects (PBIP), or equivalent tools.
Troubleshoot Power BI model, report, refresh, gateway, and performance issues.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and other technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions.
Mentor junior and mid-level Power BI developers and provide technical guidance where required.

Must-Have Skills :

6+ years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence / Power BI Development.
Strong experience developing complete end-to-end Power BI solutions.
