Job summary

Northern Trust in Pune invites an experienced Java Full Stack Lead to steer design, development and delivery of cloud-native applications. You will lead full-stack teams, shape microservices and REST APIs, and drive Azure-based solutions and CI/CD practices.

You will mentor engineers, enforce best practices, collaborate with architecture, QA, and product teams, and ensure security, scalability and reliable operations in large enterprise projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong expertise in Java 11+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and Microservices Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with React JS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience with Azure services including: Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Service Bus, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, design patterns, cloud-native architecture, and distributed systems.
• Experience with databases such as Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cosmos DB, and Snowflake.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
