Job summary

Lumenci is seeking an experienced AI software engineer to build production-grade GenAI applications, including frontend, backend and data layers. You will work with LLMs, agents and end-to-end deployment in a fast-paced product environment.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of relevant experience, strong Python skills, and hands-on experience with FastAPI, React, LangChain, and vector databases to enable scalable AI workflows.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software/AI product development experience.
• Hands-on production-grade AI/GenAI applications, not just POCs.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Hands-on backend development using FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Experience building frontend apps with React + TypeScript.
• Hands-on with LLMs, GenAI and AI agents/workflows.
• Experience with embeddings, vector databases, retrieval, and RAG.
• Experience with LangChain/LangGraph or similar orchestration frameworks.
• Experience integrating LLM providers/APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, Google, Ollama).
• End-to-end app development across frontend, backend, APIs, data layer and deployment.
• Experience with document AI workflows (PDF, DOCX, Excel).
• Strong understanding of APIs, asynchronous workflows and production debugging.
• Git/GitHub, Docker, testing and CI/CD.

What were looking for

• Hands-on experience building production-grade AI/GenAI applications, not just POCs
• Strong programming experience in Python
• Hands-on backend development using FastAPI or similar frameworks
• Experience building frontend applications using React + TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, GenAI and AI agents / agentic workflows
• Experience with RAG, including embeddings, vector databases, chunking and retrieval
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph or similar AI orchestration frameworks
• Experience integrating LLM providers/APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, Google, Ollama or similar
• Experience building end-to-end applications frontend, backend, APIs, data layer and deployment
• Experience working with document-based AI workflows such as PDF, DOCX, Excel or text ingestion
• Strong understanding of APIs, asynchronous workflows and production debugging
• Working knowledge of Git/GitHub, Docker, testing and CI/CD

Good to have

• Experience with vector databases / search platforms such as ChromaDB, Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Weaviate or similar
• Experience building multi-agent or human-in-the-loop workflows
• Experience with browser/workflow automation or enterprise integrations
• Exposure to PostgreSQL / relational databases
• Experience in LegalTech, patent/IP, enterprise SaaS or other domain-heavy B2B products
