Job summary

Photon is seeking a senior Java Backend Engineer in India to design and build scalable backend systems using Java JDK 17+, Spring or Micronaut, and React-based front-end components. You will collaborate with AWS cloud services, REST APIs, and modern CI/CD pipelines to deliver robust software solutions.

Ideal candidates will have 7+ years of relevant experience, strong testing practices (unit/integration/acceptance), and a deep understanding of cloud architectures, including AWS and container

Qualifications

• Well experienced in Java JDK 17+.
• Well experienced in Java and any framework like Spring or Micronaut.
• Working knowledge of React & react-query.
• REST APIs (Open API).
• Unit, Integration and Acceptance Testing and associated libraries.
• Experience in working with AWS (lambda, dynamo, cloud formations etc).
• Knowledge of TDD software development practices.
• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Cloud Platform experience with AWS or OpenShift.
