Mclaren Strategic Ventures India seeks a Java/J2EE focused software engineer to design and develop web-based applications in a hybrid cloud environment. You will work with Spring Boot, REST services, and relational/NoSQL databases while collaborating with global stakeholders.

The role requires strong problem-solving, ability to work with large codebases, and experience with DevOps practices, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. You will contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud-native solutions.

Design and develop web-based applications using Java/J2EE and related web technologies, working with large, complex codebases in a hybrid cloud environment. Collaborate directly with business and client stakeholders to transform requirements into robust software solutions, leveraging modern DevOps, cloud, and containerization practices.

• Implement and use continuous delivery and deployment practices, including Git-based pipelines.
• Communicate effectively with managers and team members globally.
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand requirements (preferred but mentioned as responsibility).
• Utilize frameworks such as Spring Boot and Spring Cloud in application development.
• Use messaging technologies such as Kafka and RabbitMQ (RMQ) in application design.
