Job summary

IonIdea Inc. is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and enterprise solutions.

The candidate will work across frontend and backend, API development, databases, and cloud services. Responsibilities include building RESTful APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers to uphold coding standards and engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of software development experience with full-stack expertise.
• Strong frontend experience with React.js and/or Angular.
• Strong backend skills using Python.
• Hands-on with FastAPI, Django, or similar backend frameworks.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and microservices architectures.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Exposure to NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB or Redis.
• Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and code-quality practices.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments.
• Good understanding of security, performance optimization, and scalable design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain end-to-end web applications.

• Contribute to CI/CD and automated tests.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience across both frontend and backend technologies, API development, databases, cloud services, and modern software engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain end-to-end web applications.
• Develop responsive and reusable frontend components using React.js or Angular.
• Build scalable backend applications and services using Python with FastAPI/Django or equivalent frameworks.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate applications with internal and external systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, UX teams, data engineers, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases and develop efficient data access solutions.
• Implement authentication, authorization, security, logging, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Develop cloud-ready applications and support deployments in AWS or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Develop automated unit and integration tests and contribute to CI/CD processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Mentor junior developers and promote coding standards and engineering best practices.

Required Technical Skills

• 510 years of software development experience with strong full-stack development expertise.
• Strong frontend development experience with React.js and/or Angular.
• Strong backend programming skills using Python.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Django, or similar backend frameworks.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and microservices-based architectures.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Exposure to NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB or Redis.
• Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and code-quality practices.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments.
• Good understanding of application security, performance optimization, and scalable application design.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, or DynamoDB.
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with GraphQL and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Familiarity with DevOps and automated deployment practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Pharma, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Analytics, or Data/AI platform experience would be an advantage.
