Job summary

Sutherland Global Services is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong C# and .NET Core experience to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions in Chennai. You will own major components, build desktop and cloud-based apps, optimize performance with multithreading, and collaborate in an agile environment.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of software development experience, knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, authentication methods (JWT, OAuth, SSO), and exposure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software development.
• Strong understanding of C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework.
• Hands-on experience in Win32 API and multithreading.
• Experience with system-level programming and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in SQL Server/Oracle and NoSQL databases.
• In-depth knowledge of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, SSO).
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like MSTest, NUnit, and Google Test.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud).
• Nice to have: Azure services, Python, C++, SSRS, IIS deployments, Scrum/Agile familiarity.
