Job summary

Impetus Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking a capable Front-End/Back-End developer to design and deliver dynamic UI and robust server-side services. You will work across the stack, implement RESTful APIs, and ensure performance and scalability.

Collaborating with UI/UX, product, and QA teams, you’ll contribute to the full software development lifecycle, using Agile and DevOps practices to ship features efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Front-End Development: Build dynamic, responsive UIs with React, HTML, CSS, and TS/JS.
• Back-End Development: Design and implement server-side logic and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• API Integration: Create and consume robust RESTful APIs for front-end/back-end communication.
• Database Management: Design, manage, and query SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Collaboration: Work with UI/UX, product managers, QA to define and deliver features.
• Code Quality & Maintenance: Write clean, testable code, perform reviews, debug across the stack.
• Optimization: Improve performance, quality, and responsiveness; scale applications.
• Lifecycle Management: Participate in full SDLC with Agile and DevOps practices (CI/CD).

• Front-End Development: Develop dynamic and responsive user interfaces using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Back-End Development: Design and implement server-side logic, APIs, and services using Java, often within frameworks like Spring Boot.
• API Integration: Create and consume robust RESTful APIs to ensure smooth communication between the front-end and back-end systems.
• Database Management: Design, manage, and interact with databases (both SQL and NoSQL, e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and write efficient queries.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA teams, to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Code Quality & Maintenance: Write clean, testable, and efficient code, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire application stack.
• Optimization: Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and optimize them for maximum speed and scalability.
• Lifecycle Management: Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment, often using Agile methodologies and DevOps practices (CI/CD).
