Dentalcare Bath is seeking a proactive Dental Receptionist to join our friendly team in a mixed NHS/Private practice. You will welcome patients, answer calls, manage front desk tasks and provide clerical support with a professional, discreet approach.

Qualifications

• Dental receptionist background or reception/front-of-house experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Discretion and confidentiality when handling information.
• Completed GCSE or equivalent qualification is expected.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, residents, families and staff in a friendly, professional manner.
• Answer and direct calls and respond to enquiries.
• Manage reception duties and keep the front desk organized.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with general admin.
• Receive and distribute correspondence, deliveries and messages.
• Liaise with staff, residents, families and external professionals.
• Follow company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality.
• Support team with admin tasks when required.
• Prioritise workload and remain calm during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, residents, families and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer and direct telephone calls and respond to enquiries appropriately.
• Manage reception duties and ensure the front desk is kept organised and welcoming.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with general administration.
• Receive and distribute correspondence, deliveries and messages.
• Liaise effectively with staff, residents, families and external professionals.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies and procedures.
• Support the wider team with administrative tasks when required.
• Prioritise workload effectively and remain calm during busy periods.

About You

• We are ideally looking for a candidate with a dental receptionist background or someone with reception/front of house experience
• A committed and hardworking individual who has the drive to succeed
• Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Discreet and respectful when handling confidential information.
• You will have completed a Secondary / GCSE or similar qualification
• SOE experience is preferred but not essential
• Computer skills are essential
