Guidewire Software is seeking a full stack engineer who loves data, from polishing data pipelines to visualizing complex datasets. You will help build the next generation of data analytics and visualization tools for insurers to glean actionable insights into operational performance.

You will work with a high-caliber team to deliver scalable, performance-oriented software in an agile environment, contributing to product quality and customer experience across Guidewire’s platform.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of experience in cloud native development.
• Proficiency with Core Java and frameworks like Spring/Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with JavaScript and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Experience with AWS services (S3, SQS, Redshift) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Google Charts).

You are an enthusiastic engineer who is passionate about building high-quality software with a great team and improving the customer experience for all of our customers who use our products every day. You have a fine attention to detail and love visualizing data in all forms. You can quickly build new features in an agile environment. You are a self-starter and able to perform with minimal supervision while working alongside intelligent colleagues who've checked their egos at the door in a team environment, communicating effectively with everyone. We've built a strong culture, and we're looking for engineers who can help us maintain it!

Technical mastery

• Build an impactful, performant, and scalable stack and unified application that fear no challenge
• Write production code to lead our developers from the front

• Deliver quantified business outcomes for customers with products that deliver the future today and make us proud
• Build trust via transparency, communication, and consistent delivery that is on-scope and with outstanding quality

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years’ experience in cloud native development
• Proficient with Core Java and frameworks like Spring/Spring Boot
• Proficient with JavaScript and its standards along with MVC frameworks like React or Angular
• Experience in working with AI tools and understanding of effective Agentic AI development patterns
• Proficient with HTML5 and CSS3, including frameworks similar to Bootstrap or Material
• Experience with AWS (S3, SQS, Redshift), Kubernetes, Docker
• Experience with databases and SQL, particularly PostgreSQL
• Experience with data visualization libraries such as D3.js or Google Charts
• Familiarity with Node.js and associated frameworks, like Express.js
