Job summary

The Future University is seeking a hands-on Full Stack Software Engineer to join our on-site engineering team. You will build mission-critical web applications powering academic operations and learner experiences.

Design, develop, and deliver front-end and back-end features using React Native and Node.js with TypeScript, with a focus on scalable RESTful APIs, microservices, and robust CI/CD practices. You will diagnose issues, optimize queries, and mentor junior engineers in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record building production web applications in Agile environments.
• Strong debugging and performance-tuning experience for front-end and back-end components.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver front-end and back-end features using React Native and Node.js with TypeScript, ensuring high code quality and maintainability.
• Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and microservices with a focus on performance, security, and fault tolerance.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA to translate requirements into user-centric solutions and reliable releases.
• Implement automated testing (unit/integration) and maintain CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery and ensure production stability.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues, optimize database queries, and implement observability (logging, metrics, alerts).
• Conduct code reviews, document designs, and mentor junior engineers to raise team engineering standards.
